There is an appealing clarity to the nose, with freshness running through the richer, more savoury notes. On the palate the wine is structured and vertical, with excellent volume and a distinctly savoury character. Vibrant acidity and finely defined tannins give the wine energy and precision, while the fruit remains generous and juicy. The finish is long and persistent, returning to the red fruit and aromatic notes of the nose.
