Ripe stone fruit sits at the center, with apricot and peach joined by citrus, subtle floral notes and a cooler mineral character. There is richness to the fruit, but also an underlying restraint that gives the wine clarity and definition. On the palate the wine is Structured and concentrated, yet driven by freshness. Ripe peach, apricot and citrus are carried by lively acidity and a distinctly mineral, lightly saline character. There is weight through the mid-palate without heaviness, leading into a long, precise finish. These are also recurring hallmarks of Seeberg across Loimer’s published vintage notes.
